Girls Rock Wings, affectionately known as GRoW is Sisters of the Skies, Inc.’s annual one day aviation/STEM outreach program. GRoW’s purpose is to expose young ladies of color, ages 10-18 to the field of aviation.
These young ladies will become aviation trainees for the day; where they will participate in a discovery flight, which will be flown by our very own Sisters of the Skies, Inc. Certified Flight Instructors(CFI), who are women of color. They will tour an Air Traffic Control Tower, Military Static Aircraft, fly a full motion simulator, and have an opportunity to converse with the first black female captain at Delta Air Lines.
This year’s event is sponsored by Delta Air Lines and will be hosted in Atlanta, Georgia at Hill Aircraft located at Fulton County Executive Airport, Signature ATL, and Delta Air Lines’ World Headquarters.

Registration opens September 1st! Spots are limited and there is $20 non refundable fee.
